ARTWORK
Artwork guide
What to send us, what we can print, and what to do if you only have a photo of your logo.
What to send
The simplest thing to send is your logo as a vector file — .ai, .eps, .svg or .pdf. Vector files scale to any size without losing sharpness.
If you do not have a vector file, a high-resolution PNG or JPG works. Send the largest version you have. A logo saved from a website or a social media profile is often too small to print well.
If you only have a photo or a screenshot
Send it anyway. Explain what you want and our team will redraw or clean it up as part of the proof. You do not need design software to order from us.
Resolution
As a rough guide, a logo printed on a canopy needs to stay sharp when enlarged to about one metre wide. If your file is smaller than that, we will tell you what the options are before anything is printed.
Colour
Fabric printing uses CMYK inks. Very bright screen colours, especially neon greens, oranges and some blues, cannot always be reproduced exactly on fabric, and the base colour of the fabric affects the result.
If a precise brand colour matters, tell us the reference and we will say what is realistic before you approve the proof.
What we will not print
We cannot print artwork you do not have the right to use. That includes team logos, brand marks and licensed characters unless you hold the licence or have written permission from the owner.
When you upload artwork you confirm you have the right to use it. We may ask for confirmation, and we will decline work where the rights are unclear.
Sending files
You can attach a PNG or JPG on the product page before you add the canopy to your cart. For other formats, or files larger than a few megabytes, email them to sales@shopmorvik.com quoting your order number.
